Cannon Valley Trail
The Cannon Valley Trail, recognized as one of the 10 most beautiful rail-to-trail projects in the nation, runs along the Cannon River from Cannon Falls to Welch to Red Wing (20 miles). The entire trail is paved and it is groomed for skiing in the winter.

The Summit Golf Course was ranked "8th in Nation & 1st in Minnesota. Best new affordable public course" by Golf Digest in 2002. This Midwest Golf Management design boasts an impressive, 18-hole Championship layout, as well as a demanding 9-hole/Par 3 course, all on bent grass fairways, tees and greens.
